Mr. Jack D. Johnson, age 77, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2001 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev.Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Royce McClellan officiating. Interment will follow in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 til 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church, farmer, and former owner of Johnson Tractor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Maryse Stanley Johnson; daughters, Cindy Lucas (Jesse), Carol Smith (Roger); sons, Carl Johnson (Portia), Joey Johnson (Vickie); sister, Audrey Pierce (Milton) of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Eric Lucas, Daniel Lucas, Andi Fordham, Ross Smith, Jody Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Carla Pritchett, Stephanie Coleman, and Bryan Hardy; 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceaded in death by his parents, Nellie Wade and Carl G. Johnson, siblings, Abner Johnson, Effie Kempf, Virginia Floyd, Mildred Jones, and Lessie Lupin.
