Rev. Howard Faircloth, age 90, of Eastman died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Carl Vincent Medical Center.
Funeral services will at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October27, 2014 at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Emory Howell and Rev. Billy Sharpston officiating.
Interment will follow in Bay Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 til 5 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home.
Rev. Faircloth was born January 5, 1924 in Dodge County to the late Rebecca Clements and Dave W. Faircloth. Rev Faircloth was a member of Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church where he served as pastor for twenty-five years and a total of fifty-six years in various churches. He was also retired from Robins Air Force Base and a veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Odelle Smith Faircloth; daughter, Gail Gully and her husband Richard; sons, Phillip Faircloth and his wife Lynne and Randy Faircloth and his wife Louise; Twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, He was predeceased by siblings, Arthur Faircloth, Ronald Faircloth, Hortense Giddens, Vassie Blankenship, and Dovie Lee Giddens.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
