Mrs. Hilda Hardy Caruthers, age 82, died Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Mrs. Caruthers was born September 29, 1940 in Eastman to the late Dorothy Nutt and Leo Hardy. She was a retired secretary with the Dodge County school system and a member of Friendship Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Dorothy Hardy; husband, Gaskell Caruthers; and brother, Jerry Hardy.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Roland (David), Amy Richards (Marlon), and Joey Caruthers (Darlene); grandchildren, Colby Caruthers, Harlie Wingate, Ashley Roland Lewis (Marcus), and Adam Richards (Halee); three great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred Hardy and Efton Hardy (Jean); and sister-in-law, Dianne Mercer (Ronald).
