Mrs. Helen Daniels, age 89, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at Bleckley Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 23 at 11 am in Hardy-Towns Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Daniels was born August 29, 1932 in Dodge County to the late Lee Giddens and Mae Mullis. She was a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Chester High School and worked at Stuckey Timberland, Stuckey's Inc. in retail accounting for several years. She retired from Citizens Bank and Trust.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bennett (Larry); sons, Jeffrey Daniels (Darla) and Joe Daniels (Teresa); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Judy Batchelor (Buddy); step-son, Don Shepard; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Joan Daniels Douglas; granddaughter, Lara Bennett; sisters, Monette Bryant, Myrtice Dixon, and Betty Jean Taylor; and husbands, John E. "Doc" Daniels and Lige Shepard.
