Mrs. Helen Rogers Abbott, age 94, of Fayetteville, Georgia died September 2, 2017 in Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, September 4, 2017 in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Wilson Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 til 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abbott was born October 21, 1922 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Dora Lunsford and Roberson Rogers. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville and retire from Lerners Department Store.
She is survived by one brother, Bobby Rogers (Barbara) of Marietta, Georgia; Niece and Nephews, Janet Behren, Russell Rogers (Jaunita), and Clayton Rogers (Susan) all of Fayetteville; six great nieces and nephews and five great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husband, Herbert D. Abbott; sister, Bertha Doyle Rogers Moon; niece, Wanda Moon and nephew, David Moon Sr.
