Mrs. Hazel C. Aspinwall, age 89, of Eastman died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.
Funeral services will at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 til 3 Sunday, prior to the service.
Mrs. Aspinwall was born in Pierce County, Ga. but lived in Eastman most of her life. She was the retired owner & operator of Granny Hazel's Florist.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rutherford (Harold) and son, Joey Hobbs (Sandra); daughter-in-law, Evelyn Brown all of Eastman; sister, Frances Lambert of Perry, Ga.; Grandchildren, Marsha Williams (Jack), Harold Rutherford Jr., Mike Rutherford (Kathy), Candice Horton (Alver), Scott White (Debra), Scarlett Driggers (Mark), Joe Hobbs, Joli Hobbs, Paula Blalock (Alex), Billy Duke (Lisa), and Shelly Yow. Several great grandchildren also survived.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Martha Jarrard and son Max Brown.
