Mr. Glynn Thompson, age 77, died Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2024 at Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born March 12, 1947, in Cochran, GA to the late Virgil Thompson and Mable Bridges Thompson. He was a 1967 graduate of Cochran High School and was a retired salesman and was the owner of Ben-Lee Auto. He loved keeping busy.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Suellen Thompson; son, Ben Thompson; stepchildren, Kim Thompson (Dale), April Jessup, and Michael Brady; grandchildren, Robyn Thompson, Glynn Sergei Thompson, Linzy Bowen, Gage Brady, and Ryan Bowen; siblings, Doyle and Andrea Thompson, Beth Dickerson, Donnie and Mary Thompson, and Brenda and Royce Alligood.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Lacy Thompson; siblings, Demmie Thompson, Earl Thompson, Randy Thompson, and Betty Sue Hobbs.
Those serving as pallbearers are Gage Brady, Michael Brady, Jarrett Alligood, Toby Alligood, Bradley Jones, and James "Hammer" Cockrell.
