Georgia was a dedicated wife of Albert NeSmith for 70 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who was affectionately known as Ma to all. She lived most of her life in Cochran before moving to Eastman in 2016 for her family to help take care of her. She fell in love with this little town and the friends she met. Mrs. NeSmith was very giving and compassionate person who's joy was taking care and watching over others. She really loved her grand and great grandchildren and loved for them to come over and stay so she could take care of them. She never once forgot a Thank You for anything that you did for her, even when she was being taken care of by a doctor, she would always thank them for their service. She enjoyed working in her yard until last year, when she was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
Mrs. NeSmith is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Faye and William Howell Jr.; grandchildren, Todd Howell (Betsy), Michelle Mullis (Jonathan), Amye Robertson (Matt), Beth Wood (Melissa); great grandchildren, Paige Howell, Walt Howell, Carson Etheridge, Gavin Mullis, Porter Mullis, Kale Mullis, Madison Braswell, Bo Braswell, and Nate Wood; siblings, Billy and Nancy Smith, Patricia and Steve Daniels, Virginia Smith, and Wilson Smith.
