Mr. Gaskell Caruthers, age 80, died Friday, January 31, 2020.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2020 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Orphans Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Caruthers was born June 5, 1939 in Cookville, Tennessee to the late Josie Owens and Garnett Caruthers. He was a retired welder and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Caruthers; daughters, Debbie Roland (David) and Amy Richards (Marlon); son, Joey Caruthers (Darlene); sister, Dianne Mercer (Ronald); grandchildren, Colby Caruthers (Kristin), Harlie Wingate, Ashley Roland, and Adam Richards; and five great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Alfred Hardy and Larry Hardy (Jean).
