Mrs. Frankie T. Johnson (Miss Frankie), age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2025 in the chapel at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Spencer Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Miss Frankie was born in Eastman on February 21, 1949 to the late Lena Ashley and Frank Teresi. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eastman, Georgia and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She is a retired childcare professional. For many years, she helped local children thrive and grow to their full potential.
Miss Frankie is survived by her husband, Mr. James Larry Johnson "Pop"; her children, Windy Gibson (Benny Ray), Frank Johnson (Cristol); her grandchildren, Shane Johnson (Britni), Caroline Spencer, Brent Fussell (Ericka), Mandy Curry (Ben), Alyzza Gibson; her great-grandchildren, Addyson Burnham, Harper Gardiner, Rhett Fussell, Sparrow Spencer, Gunner Fussell, Grey Curry, Olivia Curry, Ashton Spencer, Avery Pearl Johnson, Bear Johnson, and Ramsey Reynolds; her sisters, Doris Holmes, Mary Arnott; brothers and sisters in law, Bobby Johnson and Linda Joyce McWilliams.
