Dr. Frank C. Arnold, age 60, of Augusta, formerly of Eastman died Wednesday, October 15, 2013 at the Medical College of Georgia after a prolonged illness.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Dr. Arnold graduated from Dodge County High School as Valedictorian of the class of 1971. He was also a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. He worked briefly for the Georgia Mental Health Facility in Augusta.
He is survived by his father, Fred W. Arnold Jr. and step-mother, Lene Arnold of Eastman; sisters, Hazel Dunbar (Bob) of Warner Robins, Ga and Dr. Susan Arnold (Dr. David Waldrep) of Ashville, N.C.; brothers, Lewis Arnold (Patricia) of Ellenwood, Ga. and Paul Arnold of Germantown, Oh.; his companion of many years, Winnie Davis of North Augusta, SC.; aunt and uncle, Hope and Carroll Arnold of Louisville, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Barker Arnold, step-mother, Joann Arnold and sister-in-law, Lisa Powell Arnold.
