Obituary

Miss Frances N. Giddens, age 91, of Eastman died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Plainfield Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tanner and Rev. Dwayne Dunn officiating. Musicians will be Roy Grenade and Don Jones. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 til 11 a.m.
Miss Frances was born December 10, 1930 in Telfair County to parents, Eva Lee Lake and William Archie Giddens. She move with her family to Plainfield in 1938. She was member of Plainfield Baptist Church for 84 years where she participated in Senior Adult Sunday School Class, choir, and was the church organist. She was employed with The Bank of Eastman from 1967 until March 2020 and received the employee of the year in 2014 and was a charter member of The Eastman Pilot Club and a Lions Club Sweetheart.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean C. Giddens; nieces and nephews, Lea Ann Davis (Doug), Julie D. Peche, Dorothy D. Yelton (David), Marjorie Dykes, and David W. Dykes Jr. (Alaina); great nieces and nephews, Robert Peche III, Drew Woodard (Taylor), Randi Lea Ford (Dylan), Chloe James, Caroline Price, Clay Price, Alan-David Dykes (Sierra), Kaylin Bajai (Stefan), Wendy Jones (Dave), Rebecca Davis, and Suzzane Simon (Steve); great great nieces and nephews, Rosalie A. Peche, Parker Lea Ford, Henry D. Jones, and E. Jane Jones.
