Florine Fisher Sheffield, 81, of Watkinsville, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family.
Born in Dodge County, Mrs. Sheffield was the daughter of the late Alfred Clark Fisher and Lounelle Crooks Fisher. A retired hairdresser, she was a longtime member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She loved her grandkids dearly and considered them her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sheffield was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Sheffield.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Carl W. Sheffield of Watkinsville; sons: Cary Sheffield (Leanne) of Powder Springs and Keith Sheffield of Watkinsville; sister, Faye Haynes of Bonaire; grandchildren: Machaela Sheffield, Alexa Chilin (Anthony) and Courtney McLemore (Ty).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, at 3:00 p.m., in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Rick Brittain and Carl Fisher officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m., in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, with Rev. Carl Fisher officiating.
