Mrs. Evelyn R. Vaughn, age 88, of Eastman passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Dodge County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Olin Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 til 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vaughn was born March 22, 1931 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Janie Haskins and Frank Register. She was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church and retired from Stuckeys, Inc.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Rex Mullis (Charlene) of Eastman; grandchildren, Lori Kemp (Trae), Rachael Lupin (Zeke), Hannah Fordham (Jayme), Sarah Jessup (Jacob), and Chloe Whittington (Ron); twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Joseph Peddler Mullis and Fred Vaughn and six siblings.
The family wants to thank the staff of Golden's Personal Care, Heart Of Georgia Nursing Home, Dr. Lou Barker, and the Dodge County Hospital ICU.
