Obituary

Ella Mae Widener Melton "MaMae", age 84, of Eastman died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Bambrough officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 til 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Melton was born September 29, 1930 to Jeanett Giddens and George W. Widener. She was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and was retired from Three Rivers Home Health.
She is survived by daughters, Judy Ragan Berryhill and Edith Perry; siblings, Dolly Jones, Peggy Widener Burke, Ray Widener, Bennett Widener, Raymond Widener, Larry Widener, Alan Widener, Gary Widener, and Jerry Widener; grandchildren, Jennifer Perry, Sissy Garnto (Carrol), Angie Perry, Miranda R. Wright (Hilton), Jodie Bacon (Kenny), and Trey Ragan; son-in-law and family, Jimmy Ragan, Chona, and Bailey; eight great grandchildren also survived.
She was predeceased by husbands, James Eldon Weaver and Al Melton; siblings, Linda Smith and Kathleen Harrell.
