Mrs. Eleanor Pittman, age 87, of Eastman, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Rev. James Dupree officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Robins Cemetery.
Mrs. Pittman was a retired seamstress at the C&J Manufacturing. She was also a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, car races, and treasure hunting at flea markets and yard sales.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her children, Josephine Owens (Samuel) and Tim Pittman; her grandchildren, Tommie A. Martin (Patrick), Douglas Pittman (Kimberly), Rev. Matthew Pittman (Skye), Rebecca Mullis (Peyton), Stacey Nobles (Mike), and Tammy McRae (Rex); 17 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jackie Horne (Buford), Wayne White (Gwen), Morris White, Mary Piper, Martha White, and John White; and her step mother, Sarah White.
Mrs. Pittman was predeceased by her parents, Rebecca Johns and Chester White; her husband, Freeman C. Pittman; her son, Daniel Pittman; her daughter-in-law, Linda Pittman; and her siblings, James White, Robert White, Tisha Lanely, Chester White, Jr., Randy White, and Jack White.
