Mr. Sherman Edward Peacock, Eddie to his family and friends, and Fast Eddie to those who faced him in a friendly game of pool, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 til 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Peacock was born August 22, 1949 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Grace Dykes Peacock and Robert Lee Peacock. Grandson of Vina and Felder Dykes and Ola and Ozro Peacock.
Eddie grew up in Eastman and was a longtime resident of Macon, Ga. where he retired from Rosson Sign Company. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Peacock; sisters, Faye Mullis, Lynette Reed, Judy Brush (Tony); niece and nephews, Tammy Moore, Keith Mullis, Chris Mullis, Marc Brush, and Michael Reed.
