Mr. Donald F. Adler, age 73, of Eastman died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Eastman First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Goshorn officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Adler was born August 4, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Anna Mary Jones Adler and Fredrick Adler. He was a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church and The Open Door Sunday School Class, a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he played basketball. Mr. Adler was a retired teacher and coach from The Dodge County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Adler; children, Nick Adler (Jayci), Cynnema Petry (Jeff), Cherie Allen (Gary), Todd Kimball (Tricie), and Scott Kimball (Marjorie); sister, Judy Taylor (Ken); grandchildren, Jazzlyn Petry, Baylee Petry, Maria Petry, Madeline Allen, Ty Kimball, Vince Kimball, and Maddox Kimball.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to The American Cancer Society or Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter.
Hardy-Towns Funeral Home of Eastman is in charge of arrangements.
