Mr. Lauren Dillard Pound, age 59, of Marietta, Georgia., formerly of Eastman, Georgia died January 24, 2020 at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Marietta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 til 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home in Eastman, Georgia.
Mr. Pound is survived by parents, Jean and Olin Pound of Marietta; sister Clair (Scott) Hetherington of Marietta; brother Crawford (Debra) Pound, of Woodstock; mother-in-law Diane Taylor and sister-in-law Tonya Sheffield of Eastman; nieces Laurie Hetherington and Angela Burton (Zack) of Marietta, Amber Sheffield of Hiram, and Kylie Sheffield of Eastman; nephews Stephen Hetherington of Lexington, SC, Alex Pound of Atlanta and Sgt. Jim Wells, USMC; great nieces Ivy and Layla Burton of Marietta; uncle Doyle (Shirley) Dillard of Marietta and many cousins.
