Mr. Delma Ray Harrell, age 84, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville with Rev. Clayton Holmes officiating. The family requests that attendees dress in casual clothing. A visitation will be held from 6:00 til 8:00 pm at Hardy-Towns Funeral Home on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Mr. Harrell was born December 14, 1939 to the late Estelle Yancy and Clarence Eugene Harrell. Mr. Harrell was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, a retiree from the U.S. Postal Service, and farmer.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Harrell Meaney (Alvis) and Christy Mullis (Larry Jackson); his grandchildren, Joshua Holmes (Teresa), Jeanie Mullis (Tony), Patricia Mullis, and Patrick Mullis; his great-grandchildren, Cason Mullis, Owen Mullis, Miles Holmes, and Memphis Holmes; as well as his sister, Joyce Horne (Hal).
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrell is predeceased by his wife, Molly Spires Harrell; his sister, Bessie Jean Lavender; and his daughter, Valerie Harrell.
