Mr. Danny J. Sheffield, age 79, of Eastman, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Todd Crosby and Emory Peacock officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Danny was born on November 5, 1946 to the late Charlotte Peacock and Jack Dempsey Sheffield. He was a retired business man and was skillful in many things. He was an avid member of First Baptist Church and attended Sunday School regularly. In his free time, Mr. Danny had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and horses.
Mr. Danny is survived by his sons, Dan Sheffield and Cody Sheffield; his grandchildren, Daython, Tucker, and Ty Sheffield; his sister, Pam Cofield; and special companion, Judy Lowery.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Danny was predeceased by his niece, Kari Cofield.
