Mr. Danny Vern Helms, age 64, of Eastman died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Hardy-Towns Chapel with Rev. Richard Nettles and Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Cottondale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 til 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Helms; daughter, Allyson Kayley Helms Mullis (David Andrew Mullis Jr.); mother, Mary Van Helms; grandson, Tucker Mullis; sisters, Kim Pitts (Chris Burch) and Cathy Jones (Van); brothers, Ed Helms Jr.(Carol) and Greg Helms (Sheila); special nieces and nephews, Morgan Pitts, Cliff Barnwell, Chris Bryan, Brad Bryan, and Ray McCranie; special lifelong friends, Mickey Whigham, Ronnie Cannon, and Wayne Burch.
Mr. Helms was predeceased by his son, Joseph (Joe) Helms; father, Charles Helms Sr.; siblings, Cynthia Bryan and Wayne Helms.
