Cullen Norman Burroughs (Papa C) was born December 13, 1939 in Jacksonville, FL. He served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army. He was a Vietnam War Combat Veteran that gained his wings on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at age 83. He joins his parents Cullen and Theodosia Burroughs, and his siblings Evelyn Sloan and Kenneth Burroughs in Heaven.
Mr. Cullen Burroughs is survived by his son, Matthew Burroughs (Christy), grandchildren Miranda Bryan (Brandon), Cassidy Burroughs, Michael Lewis (Jayci), Kaitlyn Lewis, Trey Lewis (Alexandria), and great-grandchildren Aiden Bryan and Owen Bryan, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Cullen Burroughs (Papa C) will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday November 25, 2023 with Pastor Billy Flowers giving a short message, at Houston Road Church (6055 Houston Rd. Macon, GA 31216) and lunch will be served. On December 8, 2023 Cullen and Helen Burroughs' remains will be escorted to Jacksonville National Military Cemetery at 4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218 where Pastor Terry Gore will give a short message, and a military burial with honors will be performed. The graveside service for Mr. Cullen will be at 12:30 pm and for Ms. Helen will be at 1:00 pm. We welcome all family and friends to both services.
