Ms. Clarice Danos, age 67, passed away on January 16, 2025. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hardy – Towns Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Parker will officiate the service with special commentary from her nephew, Joah Evans. The family will receive guests following the service.
Ms. Danos was born October 15, 1957 in Gainsville, Florida to Mary Jo Phillips and the late Mitchell Evans. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stark, Florida. After graduating from Dodge County High School, Ms. Danos worked at Dodge County Hospital. After that she relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana to work for Honeywell Securities and River Oaks Management.
In addition to her mother, Mary Jo Phillips, Ms. Danos is survived by her brother, Robert Evans (Lisa); her nephews, Josh Evans (Brittany) and Joah Evans (Brittany); a companion, Joey Rodrigue; and her puppies, Lizzie and Buster.
In addition to her father, Mitchell Evans, she was predeceased by her husbands, Noland Marisco and Delbert Danos; as well as her step-father, Dene Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
