Mr. Charles Glisson, age 59, of Eastman passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Arnold Rye and Rev. Al Acosta officiating.
The family request mask be worn and social distancing be practiced.
Mr. Glisson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Glisson of Eastman; mother, Carolyn Drury of Eastman; children, Charlie Glisson, Brooke McLaughlin, and Amy Taylor (Nathan); grandchildren, Chelsey Landmesser, Johnny Glisson, Aubrey Glisson, and Maddie McLaughlin; father-in-law, Dannie McLaughlin (Annette); sister-in-law, Janet Moore; brother-in-law, Mark Atkinson; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward Glisson, step father, Burwell Drury, sister, Cathy Atkinson, brothers-in-laws, Lee McLaughlin,and Lawrence Moore.
Mr. Glisson will lie in state Monday, January 25, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
