Mr. Cary Vernon Horne passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Horne was born on May 2, 1945 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Vernon and Madeline Horne. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Horne was a dedicated machinist and retired from Lithonia Lightning and Husqvarna. In his free time, Mr. Horne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car races.
Mr. Horne is survived by his children; Pam Evans (Cleve), Amy Yawn, Christy Wynn (Ian), and Cindy Horne (Deborah). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Dalton Evans (Camryn), Summer Vickrey, Jordan Yawn, Kyleigh Wynn, Chloe Wynn, Ethan Wynn, Caleb Wynn, and Brandon Lewis; as well as one great-grandchild, Sailor Rose Vickrey. In addition, he is survived by his siblings; Carolyn Drury and Ray Horne (Doreen).
Mr. Horne was predeceased by Bessie Jean Horne, his loving wife.
