Mr. Carl G. Waters, age 78, died Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bay Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Waters was born September 11, 1945, in Douglas, GA to the late Anner Lou Hutchinson and Carlos Waters. He was retired from Merchants Citizens Bank of McRae. He was a former member of Faith Baptist Church in McRae, and recently attended Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his grandchildren, and NASCAR.
He was predeceased by his son, Brian Waters; sister, Joyce Poole; parents, Anner Lou Hutchinson and Carlos Waters; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Troy J. Driggers Jr. and Judy Driggers.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila D. Waters; daughter, Windy Danner; son, Carl Eric Waters; grandchildren, Ethan Danner, Jayda Danner, Evan Danner, and Walker Waters.
