Mr. Carl E. Ross, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023 at AU Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be at 3:00pm on Monday, June 19, 2023 with a visitation one hour prior at Hardy Towns Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bowers Cemetery.
Mr. Ross was born in Eastman, Georgia on July 18, 1932 to the late Wilkins B. Ross and Annie Mae Arnold Ross. Mr. Ross was a generous man who found much joy in doing and providing for others. He attended Gresston Congregational Holiness Church. He also had a love and interest in clocks. He had an illustrious career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He served as an Office Services Manager for 46 years from 1950 to 1996.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Ross; his son, Eugene Ross (Kelsie) of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Nancy Ross; granddaughter, Brittany Grant (Adam); and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Madelyn Grant. He is also survived by his siblings Dorothy Davis, Hilda Crawley, and Gerald Ross (Emma). In addition, he is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Stephen Edmiston (Kellie) and Carol Stoudt.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross was predeceased by son, Terrell Ross; his brother, Everett Ross; and his sisters, Hazel Dempsey and Joyce Laverne Ross.
