Rev. Bobby G. Head Jr., age 55, of Eastman died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. Visitation will be from 2 til 3 p.m.. at the funeral home
Rev. Head was born November 4, 1966 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Dianne Douglas and Bobby Gene Head Sr. He was a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church, a licensed Church of God Minister, a Navy Desert Storm Veteran, and was a retired Cellular Engineer with Verizon Wireless. He loved motorcycles and bass fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Woodard Head; children, Joshua Head (Hadyn), Stephanie Newsome (JaMell), and Marcelo Coutinho; sister, Rena Smith (Scott); step-mother, Pam Head; step-sister, Holly Ricks (Spencer); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 8th Ave., suite 902, New York, NY 10018, wwwdsa.org.
