Mrs. Bettye F. Peacock, age 82, of Eastman passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family Friday, February 2, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Mt. Ararat Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Woods Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Peacock was born January 10, 1942 in Dodge County to parents, Lorene Lane and Carl Fincher. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Freewill Baptist Church, retired from Robins AFB. After retirement, she was a homemaker and loved to bake.
She is survived by three children, Donna Knight (Eddie), Dr. Todd Peacock, and Greg Peacock; grandchildren, Dee Carey (Rob), Meagan Peacock Edge (Jed), Gabriel Peacock Solana (John), and Spencer Lei Jones (Daniel); great grandchildren, Luc Bennett, Lowery Carey, Sawyer Rae Jones, and Morgan Caroline Peacock-Edge; siblings, Paul Fincher (Myrtice) and Audrey Peterman (Donald).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Melton Merle Peacock, Daughter, Sandra Dykes, and eight siblings.
