Mrs. Betty Joyce Rogers, age 75, of Milan died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Fairview Park Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Sandgrove Baptist Church with her grandson, Blake Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rogers was born July 20, 1940 in Milan, Georgia to the late Ruby Stapleton and James Collins. She was the widow of Bruno Rogers Jr. She was a member of Sandgrove Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Tonya Rogers of Hephziba, Ga., James Rogers (Renae) of Rhine, Ga., and Albert Rogers (Machell) of Milan, Ga.; sister, Frances Burgamy (Junior) of Cussetta, Ga.; brother, Gerald Collins (Margaret) of Bellvue, Fl.; Grandchildren, Jerry Little III, T.J. Graham, Morgan Graham, Erin Anderson (Micah), Emilee Moore (Nathan), Blake Rogers (Abigail), Kayla, Kanan, Chloe, Nat, Nolan, Gracelyn, Addilyn, and Luke Rogers. Four Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she also predeceased by brothers, A.J. Collins, Harry Lee Collins, Leonard Collins, and Robert Collins.
The family will be at the home of Albert and Machell Rogers, 1285 Milan-Chauncey Highway, Milan, Ga. 31060.
