Mrs. Betty H. Pirkle, age 84, of Eastman died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her residence.
Due to CDC recommendations, a private funeral service will be held later this week.
Mrs. Pirkle was born April 27, 1935 in Wheeler County to the late Bessie Burch Howard and William T. Howard. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a substitute teacher, and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by children, Beth Fordham (Ricky), Benny Pirkle (Denise), and Bob Pirkle (Tammy); grandchildren, Jessica Hart (Mark), Matt Fordham (Jessica), Dale Owens (Casey), Mindy Hoven, Catherine Hardy (Dylan), Kayden Pirkle, Halei White (Scott), Josh Westbrook; twelve great grandchildren; cousin, Beverly Rogers.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bobby Pirkle and siblings, Mary McKie, Emma Sue Howard, and Ben Howard.
