Rev. Arturo Villanueva, age 53, of Eastman passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 1 m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church #1 with Richard Steele officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon til 1 p.m.
Rev. Villanueva was born January 29, 1968 in Ciudad Mante Mexico and moved to Texas in 1993. He was an insurance salesman and a pastor for thirty years, last serving at Iglesia Bautista Hispana Luz Y Vida Church in Eastman.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Villanueva of Eastman; Children, Marcela Currier (Cory), Betty Villanueva, Becky Hatcher (Blake), and Ezequiel Villanueva; mother, Gloria Puente; grandchildren, Emmalyn Currier and Natalia Carrazco; siblings, Omar Garza and Matilde Duenez.
