Mr. Arthur S. "Bubba" Cooper, age 87, of Eastman died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the chapel of Hardy-Towns Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Peele officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper was a veteran of WWII and retired from Robins AFB, a member at Central Baptist Church and a former member of Eastman First Baptist. He was a member of American Legion Post 126, The Red Shirt Auxillary at Dodge County Hospital.
He is survived by daughters, Rowana Beebe (Paul) and Latonna Moye both of Eastman; sister, Gladys Bond of Eastman; grandchildren, Justin Moye, Bill Moye, Erin Beebe, and Sean Beebe; great grandchildren, Liveon Beebe, Iraleah Beebe, Loki Beebe, Hinton Moye, and Monae Moye.
Mr. Cooper, the son of the late Dorey Wimberly and Arthur L. Cooper, was predeceased by wives, Vera Lee Powell Cooper and Mozell Glisson Cooper, children, Ricky Iral Cooper and Hope Cooper,and sister, Lois Shaw,
Visitaion will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
