Ms. Anne S. Reid, age 81, of Eastman died peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Hardy-Towns Chapel with visitation one hour before. Rev. Fred Parker and Rev. Daniel Cook will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ms. Reid was born July 8, 1941 to the late Walter W. Reid Sr. and Ruby Lee Martin Reid. Ms. Reid was a member of Cottondale Baptist Church. She is a retired Georgia State Patrol Communications Officer. In her spare time, she enjoyed raising Boston Terriers.
Ms. Reid is survived by two children, Catherine LaFleur (Russel) and William Alfred Coleman; brother, Walter Reid Jr. (Susan). She is also survived by her grandchildren Bandy Lehnig, Alon Leeper (Jennifer), and Lindsey Leeper (Katie), as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jeanne Coleman.
Pallbearers will be provided by the Georgia State Patrol.
